The Youngest professor of English

I am 17 years old with 5 yrs teaching experience. I am perhaps world's youngest English professor. I wish to create a history in teaching. I wish to teach teachers how to impart knowledge entertainingly without burdening the student's mind. I wish to bring back the dignity to this profession. I wish that a learner should respect his teacher. I wish that India should be a knowledge hub of the world. Students from all over the world should come to India for quality education. I wish that people should give more importance to KNOWLEDGE because it's the real power as well as ASSET of a person. And I am doing my best to convert my wishes into reality.
I apologize for writing so many times "I" in the following text . I started my schooling in the year 2000. Not trying to boast, I would say I was a brilliant student who was a victim of bias. My pedagogue and principal were acquaintances of the class topper. In our tuition classes whenever we competed against each other I always outstood him. But in schools during the exams his grades were always higher than mine. I sensed some prejudice that was against me.
My skills in painting and craft were appreciated in the entire school & society. I even helped my class in painting. Yet I scored a C-Grade in painting while my most of friends scored B-Grade and the top scorers got A-grade. The reason-1. Anger or Revenge against the complaint made by my father about a teacher who wrongly punished the students and lazed around in the class instead of teaching.2. The top-ranker’s mom being a friend of the school-head. That infuriated me but I tolerated it. In those days I used to attend the lectures of my dad therefore I befriended many youngsters elder to me. From them I learnt that a person needs to struggle a lot to get employed even after studying for so many years. Many even do undeserving petty jobs. Then I even came across abundance of newspaper-articles about unemployment. They said “All illiterate people are employed & many of educated and qualified people are unemployed. That set me thinking.
When I completed my second standard I left school. But I started missing my friends. I rarely talked with boys of my aged fearing, what I would say about my studies?. During that time I used to study with graduates at my dad’s classes. Next year I joined the school again as a third grade. Now I felt that things had changed with me. I had matured more than my friends. I was better in my studies than I was previously. I mingled more with the boys elder to me than those equivalent to me. Many a times I got opportunities to teach my class, my friends. I kept studying till Fifth grade. There I scored 92% marks as my result.
The month was April when the vacation began. During that time my dad started a branch of our institute in Vapi , So during the vacation I tried my hand at teaching. We also had faculties over there. So with them I started teaching. After a month a day came when I had to handle the whole institute on my own as the faculties were absent for a day. There came my first student who was attended by me only . He was a thirty-five years old manager of a company in Daman. He talked to me and agreed to join the class from the next day. He came and brought the fee Rs5000/ with him. I received the amount from him. It was a big thing for me as I had earned a huge amount of money on my own.
He appreciated my teaching. I taught him whole-heartedly and in return I got a gift from him at the end of his course. During that time a lady who was educated from Bangalore joined my dad as a student. Many a times I used to compete with her and I turned out to be scoring as much as her. One day I even taught her. So like this I taught many students. Thereafter I left my schooling from the next year.
My real {practical} learning started when I started teaching with spontaneous interest. I wish to learn from everyone I met. I believe that every individual has some sp. information with him/her. Let me learn from this open university i.e. our world.

Indian Mentality

Are we advancing ahead into a new era?
I think we aren't. We may boast that we are developing very fast and marching with the world. Even after knowing the fact that our conventional education is useless and impractical yet all the parents are sending their children to the same schools. Do they think rationally and logically? No ...absolutely no.

Indians have herd instinct. They do not try to tread new path. They will tread on the beaten path. I am so fortunate that my parents have shown me a new path, a path which is convenient and comfortable and empty too. I am enjoying my journey. I pity all those people who can not see the benefits of walking on a new track. We may change our clothes, may sing rock and pop music and may go to multiplex to see movies, and eat pizzas and burgers but still we are the same old Indians.
We can not be Americans and Europeans by merely learning English and computer. We need to change our attitudes. We need to learn a lot. We ought to come out of our ethos.

HEALTH & FITNESS

Our health is a real wealth, without it we can't enjoy life and therefore we should take utmost care of it.

Good health…..and lasting happiness is not like a bank balance…..it`s a matter of good habits and positive attitude in life. Good habits are difficult to form but easy to live with and bad habits are easy to form but difficult to live with.

Good health and happiness is not the prerogative of the elite or a favoured few, it`s the right of every human being. Every human being has the best doctor {healer} within himself. The need is to recognize and trust him and assign him the duty to heal our illnesses.

An illness is a retribution of outraged nature…..and whenever we desire to get rid of an illness …our innate doctor is ever ready..to cooperate with us. Our body has amazing power within to heal itself……without any external help.
But unfortunately when something goes wrong we habitually, ignorantly and immediately rush to doctor for unnatural external help. Actually due to ignorance and misconception we have become Hypochondriacs and weaklings.

We have become impatients and have strayed from Nature. We have forgotten the fundamental laws of nature. Our god gifted body isn't a disease producing factory, on the contrary it's a resilient and robust self-repairing mechanism.

Nothing heals better and faster than mother nature and believe me it's amazing. I didn't take any medicine in my life. I have always relied on self healing power of my body and it has never disappointed me. The fundamental principle of Nature cure is, stop the causes of the disease and it will cease. Patience and persistence is the 2nd principle of it. Eat well, sleep well, work well and laugh a lot and you will always be fit and fine. If you wish to know more about Nature healing, please email me.

My Mentor

He is my mentor, who convinced me to become an Autodidact.
Be an Autodidact/ Be different/ Be practical

Some of the greatest people in history have educated themselves to a large degree using a process known as autodidacticism. This is something that's more easily undertaken these days with the great wealth of online tools available to anyone.

Whether you've gone to college or not, you can learn just about anything these days on your own. Want to learn about the classics? Carpentry and home maintenance? Philosophy or cooking? Chess or computer programming? It's all online, and with a little bit of excitement, you can motivate yourself to learn a subject in a growing number of ways.

Why self-education? Well, besides the obvious reasons of wanting to improve yourself, prepare yourself for success, and just learn as much as you can, self-education offers a few extra benefits: you can learn at your own pace, and in your own way. You can follow your passions, and learn about things that excite you. There's no price for failure, but there's every reward for success.

How do you go about becoming an autodidact? The answer is simple: any way you want. I would suggest you set aside just a little time each day to learn a specific subject, but that really depends on your learning style. Some people learn all in one great rush: they'll stay up late hours for a few days in a row, consuming everything they possibly can about a subject. Others are overwhelmed by an approach like that, and would rather learn a little each day.

However you go about it, here are some of the best tools for the modern autodidact:
Wikipedia. A vast repository of great and useful articles, Wikipedia is the autodidact's dream. You could surf it for hours, days on end, or you could use one of many tools to make daily learning a breeze. One of the best is the Articles of the Day feature --sign up to get it in your email box. Another great option that I've tried is making Wikipedia's random page your home page. BBC world service is another online learning place.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

All anyone really requires as a capital on which to start a successful career is a Sound mind, a Healthy body, and a genuine desire to be of as much service as possible to as many people as possible.

(1) Take full responsibility
In society in which people blame everyone from their parents to the govt for their failure to get ahead, motivational superstars refuse to buy into the victim mentality.
Their credo is "If it's to be, it's up to me."
They realize that when you say something someone outside of yourself is preventing you from succeeding, you are giving away your power. You are saying that "you have more control over my life than I do".

Consider Les Brown.Given up by his parents at birth and labelled "Educable mentally retarded". As a child, he had every reason to lose hope. But when a school teacher told him "Someone else's opinion of you does not have to become your reality."

Brown realised that his future lay in his own hands. He went on to become a state legislator and author, and today earns $20,000 per hour as one of america's top motivational speakers.
Brown understood that you can't control things in life such as nature, the past and other people.
But you can control your own thoughts and actions.Taking responsibility for your life is one of the most empowering things you can do.

(2)Live life on purposes

Perhaps what separates motivational superstars from others is that they live life "on purpose"------ They are doing what they believe they were put here to do.
''Having a purpose in your life is the most important element of become a fully functional person. Say Wayne-- His company has generated more than $20 million a year in sales.

(3)Write out a plan

Trying to achieve your goals without an action plan is like trying to drive across your country without a map. The wasted time, energy and money will probably cause you to give up travelling before you go very far.

Brian Tracy, one of America's most successful sales trainer, speaker and author points out Goals that are not in writing are not goals at all. They are rarely fantasies. With a written map in hand however you will enjoy the trip and arrive at your destination in the shortest possible time.

(4)Be willing to pay the price

Wanting a big house, a luxury car or a million dollars is nice, but the problem is that practically everyone wants these things.Successful people find out what it cost to make their dream come true-- then make it happen. They don't complain about the work it takes.
Les Brown has a callus on his left side ear. Why?

"When I decided to get into the speaking, I had no credentials, no reputation, no credibity and no experience, so I had to call over a hundred people a day to ask for an opportunity to speak to their group. The callus is worth several million dollars.

(5)Become an expert

One striking factor about the motivational speakers I Interviewed is their "phenomenal drive to be the best". They'll do almost anything to improve their skills.

Patricia Fripp, who speaks to "fortune 500" executives on how to become more successful, took a comedy workshop and hired a private speech coach to improve her speaking ability. Fripp did this even after being named one of the best electrifying speakers in North America by a trade magazine. If someone videotaped you at your job to make a how to tape for other people, would you be proud of the tape or embarassed? If the latter decide today to work towards being the best in your field. Study the experts, find out what the best are doing, then do what they do.

(6)Never give up

It may sound obvious, but when you are truly committed to your goal, giving up is not even an option. You must be willing to do whatever it takes to make it happens. When Jack Canfield and Mark victor compiled "Chicken soup for the soul they were turned down by more than a hundred publishers. But instead of giving up, they stayed focused on their goal. Eventually a small outfit decided to published the book. It not only became a bestseller but also hatched an entire series of "Chicken soup" books that have sold more than 12 million copies. That's the power of perseverance. Spend as much of your day as you can on achieving your goals and dreams. Ask yourself is what I am doing right now bringing me closer to my goal? If not than do something that will.

(7)Don't delay

In his book "Live your dreams" Les brown recalls talking on the phone with a friend named Marion. Next day she died. Later Brown was helping clean out her office. When he came across notes for a play. Unfortuately, it would never be published. Marion was the only one who knew the ending.
Remember, we don't have time forever. Top achievers know this, but rather seeing it as negative or depressing, they use the knowledge to spur themselve on. They go after what they want energetically and passionately accomplishing their dreams. You can too.

Mastering English

English is the most effective and impressive language in the world today. It's a result oriented and practical language. Having complete command over it is considered a sp.qualification. It's the most effective tool of communication in modern world.

It's not just an international language; it has become a universal language today. It's inevitable today. The whole world is trying to speak it because it's convincing.

It sets you apart from the crowd because it's a charismatic language. It makes you a leader if you use it as a weapon. Mastering it is lucrative. No prudent person can dare to avoid it. If a language has so much importance then why not master it.

How much it takes to be a real master of it? Not much. Learn parts of speech perfectly; check your knowledge of tenses, and voices. Learn word formation by learning prefix and suffix. Improve your pronunciations {learn enunciation}. Learn to spell correctly. Enhance your vocabulary.

Do not speak too much. Careless and too much speaking make us look phony hence be careful while uttering words. learn the pitfalls and wrap-zones of this language. It should not be a bugbear for you. Tame it. Update it regularly by learning latest words from BBC world service' BBC learning English site. It's the best site because it's an authentic one. Be way ahead of others by mastering this phenomenon language. Peter

Why English ?

English is a not just an ordinary language, it's a charismatic language, it's a phenomena. English is the most effective and essential language today. A language that enhances our confidence.
In past it was a prerogative of prominent people, it was the language of rulers and not the ruled. It was a language of elite class not meant for the masses. It has spread everywhere in the world. Today people can't do without it. For millions it's a source of bread n butter.

Today everyone wants to possess it @ any cost. Even the poorest parents want their children to imbibe this language. In fact it has become a lingua franca of the whole world. People who hold command over it feel proud. Good knowledge of it is considered an asset. The whole world has become its market. It's a sellable commodity.

Speaking it effectively is considered a sp. qualification. Millions of people get lucrative jobs just because they can effectively communicate in this language. It's a confidence enhancing language. It has already gained a status of universal language. It's an effective tool of communication in modern world and it's also a bugbear for many.

It's known for its erratic nature and hence it's called a crazy language. Once it was a poor language but today it has become the richest language in terms of vocabulary by adopting word from many different languages. Nobody can ever claim to write it perfectly. Its pronunciations are often perplexing. It's a very convincing language. Today it's must for everyone so learn it and master it. If a person like me can learn, even without going to school then you too can learn.

Meeting the cm Narendra Modi

It was a new experience meeting a VIP. Last year I went to gandhinagar with my father to meet The Dynamic Leader Narendra Modi. He is a nice person, and a powerful administrator. We remained with him for half an hour. He organised a seminar for us in Sanskar kendra, a high school at Bopal on the outskirt of Ahmedabad. I was offered a job in the school by the principal.

Knowledge The real Asset

Knowledge is the real asset of a person and it's indestructible. With knowledge we can create Health, Wealth and Fame. This asset is movable and nobody can see it unless we show it. We can carry it wherever we wish without feeling the burden or risk of it. We can regain our lost property and consolidate our reputation in society.

Knowledge is a real POWER because it empowers our mind to do any task or attain any feat. All inventions are the result of knowledge. Whatever we see around us particularly man-made are the result of someone's imagination and knowledge.

We must have right knowledge to live and enjoy our life. An ignorant person is like a blind and knowledge is the light which dispel the darkness. We ought to have right and sufficient knowledge to make our life good. Knowledge is the thing which sets us apart from animals. We should update and enhance our knowledge on regular basis.
